NADA is an agonist of the CB1 receptor.
Cannabinoid modulation of peripheral autonomic and sensory neurotransmission.
Eur J Pharmacol. 2003 Jul 4;472(1-2):1-21. Review.
NADA is is an "endovanilloid". It also activates vanilloid VR1 receptors (coexpressed with cannabinoid CB1 receptors), which excites sensory nerves and causes release of sensory neurotransmitter.
